‘김복동의 희망’은 일본군성노예제 피해자이며 인권평화운동가인 김복동의 삶과 뜻을 이어 받아 활동하는 단체입니다. 특별히 할머니의 마지막 유지 중에 하나였던 “재일조선학교 지원을 나 대신 해달라”는 당부의 말씀을 받아 안고, 할머니가 못 다하고 가신 그 희망을 실천해 나가는 단체입니다. 일본정부의 재일동포사회와 재일조선학교에 대한 차별 철폐를 위해 활동하며, 재일조선학교 학생 장학사업과 시민사회활동가 자녀 장학사업을 통해 김복동의 희망을 미래 세대들에게 전하고, 전쟁없는 세상을 희망했던 김복동의 뜻을 따라 한반도와 세계평화에 기여함을 활동 목표로 삼고 있습니다.

＜金福童の希望＞は、日本軍性奴隷制の被害者であり、人権平和運動家である金福童さんの生涯と意志を受け継いで活動する団体です。 とりわけ、金さんの最後の遺志の一つであった「在日朝鮮学校支援を私に代わって続けてほしい」という遺言を受け、金さんがやり残したその希望を実践していきます。 在日同胞や朝鮮学校に対する日本政府の差別を撤廃するために活動し、朝鮮学校の学生と市民社会活動家の子どものために奨学事業を通じて、金福童さんの希望を未来の世代に伝え、戦争のない世界を願った金さんの意志に従って朝鮮半島と世界平和に貢献できる活動を目標としています。

□ Purpose
'Hope of Kim Bok-dong' is an organization that inherits the life and will of Kim Bok-dong, a victim of Japanese military sexual slavery and a human rights and peace activist. In particular, we are an organization that accepts one of my grandmother's last wishes, "Please support the Korean school in Japan on my behalf," and practices the hope that my grandmother could not fulfill. The organization works for the elimination of discrimination against the Japanese Korean community and Korean schools by the Japanese government, and aims to convey Kim Bok-dong's hope to future generations through scholarships for students at Korean schools and scholarships for children of civil society activists, and to contribute to peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world by following the will of Kim Bok-dong, who hoped for a world without war.
